Dr. Sussan Helmick

Dr. Sussan Helmick has been a trusted and beloved provider at Forest Family Dentistry's Anderson Lane location since 2018, bringing over 11 years of clinical experience and a genuinely warm chairside manner that puts patients at ease from the moment they sit down. A proud Texas native, she has built a reputation as one of the most skilled and compassionate dentists in the Austin area, known especially for her advanced work in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

De. Helmick earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. She combines clinical precision with a patient first philosophy, always taking the time to understand what each person needs and creating treatment plans that are as individual as the patients themselves.

Her areas of advanced training include Invisalign® clear aligner orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry including HALO® veneers, and full mouth rehabilitation. She is also certified in Botox® therapy for the treatment of orofacial pain and tension headaches, which has brought genuine, lasing relief to patients who have struggled with chronic facial pain for years. She is nitrous oxide certified as well, ensuring that patients who experience dental anxiety can feel completely comfortable throughout any procedure.
