Dr. Sussan Helmick has been a trusted and compassionate provider at Forest Family Dentistry's Anderson Lane location since 2018. With over 11 years of experience, she is known for her advanced skills in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, gentle and caring chairside manner, and commitment to delivering personalized dental care for patients of all ages. Her dedication to creating a calm, supportive environment has made her one of the most beloved dentists in the Austin area.

As a proud Texas native, Dr. Helmick earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. She combines evidence-based knowledge and clinical precision with a patient-first approach, helping individuals achieve optimal oral health and confident beautiful smiles through tailored treatment plans.

Dr. Helmick has advanced training in Invisalign® clear aligner orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, including Halo Veneers, and full-mouth rehabilitation. She is also certified and trained in Botox® therapy treatment of orofacial pain and tension headaches, which has allowed many patients with chronic pain to finally have relief and peace. In addition, Dr. Helmick is nitrous certified, offering a safe and effective sedation option for patients, ensuring comfort during any dental procedure. She works closely with both local and national top dental labs to deliver natural, beautiful and lasting results.
