Thorough cleanings, honest about what needs treatment and what doesn't, never felt like they were upselling. When I needed a root canal, the whole process was smooth and well-communicated and they referred me to a phenomenal specialist. I moved here after a very terrible job done by Swish dental.

Moving out of state and the records transfer was handled quickly and professionally by Shannon. Going to miss this office. If you're in the North Austin area and need a dentist, this is the one.

Came in today for a 6 month checkup/cleaning. Misty at the front desk greeted me by name immediately. She claimed she recognized my face but I think she's actually a secret magical witch because no way someone has that good a memory. Either way pretty awesome service. Oh the my dentist (Dr. Helmick), hygenienist (Brenda), and dental assistant (Mena) were all pretty excellent also. No spooky memory witch magic lIke Misty but awesome nonetheless.

I have been a patient for many years now, and just want to shoutout an amazing team from my last visit! Dr. Mahmud is AMAZING! I feel very cared for & confident about my dental health thanks to her. New hygienist Anisha was extremely thorough and gave good advice. And can’t leave out RDA Marissa & Misty at checkout too. I cannot say enough amazing things about the environment & front to back experience at FFD.

Forest Family Dentistry is amazing! McKenna and Dr. Meckel were both so kind and patient with me. They explained my Invisalign ClinCheck in a way that was super easy to follow, which made me feel a lot more confident about starting treatment. They also went over my X-rays very thoroughly and answered all my questions without rushing. You can really tell they care about their patients. I felt so welcomed and supported the entire time!

Dr. Aysha Mahmud and Hygienist McKenna are amazing! I do not say this lightly. I have had a few bad dentist in my day, and a few good ones but Dr. Aysha is the best I have met yet. This is also true for McKenna, she listened, had compassion and made my experience amazing. Total pros!!! Thank you.

Dr. Meckel and his team saw us 45 minutes after what we thought was an emergency, and we were so grateful for his kindness and patience. He was gracious, calm, and reassuring, even when it turned out that the “adult tooth” we were panicking about was actually just a baby tooth! He treated us with compassion and never made us feel silly for being worried. Truly appreciate the care and professionalism we received.

Dr. Bethall did an excellent job repairing my fractured tooth. It looks natural and feels great. He was patient and helped me choose the best option for repairing it.

I had chosen Dr. Bethall because of the beautiful woodwork he had done for his office. That artistry extended to dentistry. Everyone in the office was professional and welcoming.

I love going to Forest Family for my dental appointments. I mean literally.

I feel comfortable with them and I trust their judgement when it comes to dental treatments. Dr Helmick is my Dentist and she is very patient, friendly, knowledgeable and takes full ownership of my dental treatments (a rare and wonderful quality).

I went in with a mild case of periodontal disease and with no knowledge of dental self care. I have not only been fully treated for the disease but also educated about oral hygiene and that has significantly improved my dental care routine! ❤️

They do not recommend treatments unless absolutely necessary, and do not approach patients with a mindset of making the extra buck.

I visited another highly rated dentist clinic before I met with Forest Family and my experience there was terrible. So, I feel happy to have found an amazing, trustworthy dentist here in Austin.

For the last couple of years we have had the honour to have Forest Family take care of us. This team is the best group of human beings you could wish to take care of you. They are always nice, helpful, human and kind. We always feel listened to, taken care of and clearly explained what the situation is. This fantastic group of people is in our corner, doing their best every day and in every possible way. We are lucky to have them taking care of us. I usually avoid calling names (am also horrible with names), but I have to call out: Kara, Misty, Jasmine and Brenda.

I've been a patient with Forest Family Dentistry for over three years, it's been the best dental experience I've had. From the reception staff to the dentists, everyone is professional and provides an excellent patient experience. I've had several fillings done with them which have held up perfectly. When I had an issue with TMJ, Dr. Bethel got me in next day and was able to quickly identify the cause and provide a treatment plan. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dental office in the Austin area!

I went in for an emergency dental tooth ache, front desk were very response, and had me taken care in minutes.

They were very attentive and empathetic of my pain, and started the procedure asap.

Dr. Erik Meckel was phenomenal, he guided me through every process and procedure and helped me make the right decision, he even done the procedure immediately to relieve the pain, and was very helpful.

Really thankful for the prompt response and understanding. And especially the staff were super kind, and was checking with me throughout the procedure, couldn't imagine any better than this.

I'm out of that excruciating pain just as the doctor said and am feeling better already.
