Dr. Steven Oviedo

Dr. Steven Oviedo has known from a young age that two things were certain: his passion for the Texas Longhorns and his calling to dentistry. A proud University of Texas at Austin graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Hook'em Horns!), he went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2022. Dr. Oviedo's dedication to dentistry stems from his desire to make a meaningful impact through a profession that blends hands-on car, art, and science. His passion grew ever stronger during his time working at Kunik Orthodontics between college and dental school, confirming his commitment to a lifelong dental care.

As a nitrous-certified dentist, Dr. Oviedo provides gentle sedation to help patients feel relaxed and at ease during treatment. He offers comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services, with a strong focus on patient comfort and clinical excellence. Dr. Oviedo is also experienced in clear aligner treatment, helping patients discreetly straighten their smiles using advanced, orthodontic solutions.

When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Oviedo enjoys playing guitar, attending concerts, hunting, fishing, running, and of course, cheering on the Texas Longhorn. He fell in love with Austin during his college years and is proud to now serve the community he calls home.
