Dr. Whitney Chaney
Dr. Whitney Chaney is a compassionate and detail-oriented dentist who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry. During dental school, she served as both a Peer Tutor and Student Ambassador, reflecting commitment to learning, leadership, and patient care.
Dentistry has been Dr. Chaney's dream since she was just 10 years old. What first drew her to the profession was the unique combination of artistry, science, and human connection. Today, she still loves that every day brings an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life, whether that means relieving discomfort, improving oral health, or helping a patient feel confident enough to smile again.
Dr. Chaney believes some of the best dental care happens when patients feel comfortable enough to be themselves. She takes time to listen, answer questions, and understand what matters most to each person who walks through the door. Her goal is to create an experience that feels relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each patient's needs. She is especially passionate about helping patients with dental anxiety feel at ease and build confidence in their dental care.
She provides comprehensive general and family dentistry in North Austin and is nitrous oxide sedation-certified to help patients feel more comfortable during treatment. Having fallen in love with Austin while attending UT, Dr. Chaney is excited to care for the community she now calls home.
Outside the office, you'll often find her reading, practicing Pilates or yoga, hiking the Greenbelt, or exploring Austin's coffee shops and restauants. As a self-proclaimed coffee lover and foodie, she's always excited to hear a local recommendation from a patient.
