Dr. Lauren Soomar

Dr. Lauren Soomar is a compassionate and detail-oriented dentist who brings both clinical excellence and a gentle touch to Forest Family Dentistry. Originally from Iowa, she earned her undergraduate degree and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2018. Drawn to the dental field by her love of helping others and the unique balance of art and science, Dr. Soomar is committed to improving both the oral health and confidence in her patients.

Known for her conservative and preventive approach, Dr. Soomar focuses on protecting long-term dental health while minimizing the need for invasive treatment. She strives to make every dental experience relaxing and positive, helping patients feel at ease through personalized care. As a level 1 sedation provider, she offers multiple options to help reduce anxiety and increase comfort during procedures. Dr. Soomar is also certified in therapeutic Botox for TMJ treatment, offering relief from jaw pain and tension with a non-invasive solution that supports overall wellness.

Outside the office, Dr. Soomar stays busy keeping up with her daughter, Amal, and dog, Rio. She enjoys Pilates, reading, exploring Austin's food scene, and spending time outdoors with her family.
