Dr. Lauren Soomar

Dr. Lauren Soomaris a compassionate, detail-oriented dentist at Forest Family Dentistry's East Austin location, known for combining clinical with a gentle, personalized approach. She is dedicated to helping patients improve their oral health and build confidence through care that is tailored to each individual.

Originally from Iowa, Dr. Soomar earned both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2018. She was drawn to dentistry by her passion for helping others and the unique balance of art and science that goes into creating healthy, beautiful smiles.

Dr. Soomar provides comprehensive care spanning preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Known for her conservative, prevention-focused approach, she prioritizes protecting natural teeth and minimizing the need for more invasive procedures wherever possible.

She is a Level 1 sedation provider and offers multiple options to ease anxiety and increase comfort during treatment. She is also certified in therapeutic Botox® for TMJ, offering a non-invasive solution for jaw pain and tension.

Outside the office, Dr. Soomar enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter Amal and her dog Rio. She love Pilates, reading, exploring Austin's food scene, and being outdoors with her family.
