Anisha - Hygienist

Anisha brings a truly global perspective to dental hygiene at Forest Family Dentistry, with over eight years of clinical experience across India, Canada, and the United States and a genuine passion for patient-centered care. Her background spans a dental degree from India, advanced certifications in anesthesia and laser therapy, and training on three continents, giving her a comprehensive understanding of oral health that benefits every patient she sees.

After completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India, she deepened her preventive foundation through a Dental Hygiene Programme in Canada. Now licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in both Ontarion and Texas, she is pursuing dental school in the United States to bring her full scope of experience into the next chapter of her career.

Certified in Local Anesthesia Infiltration, Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, and Soft Tissue Diode Laser therapy, she offers a comfortable minimally invasive periodontal experience. Her background spans high-volume practices, community clinics, a preceptorship at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and volume work at Sacred Heart Community Clinic in Austin.

Outside the office, she is an Indian classical dancer, an enthusiastic tiramisu baker, and an avid reader who loves exploring Austin's cafe scene with her husband.
