When Dr. Robin Bethell started Forest Family Dentistry, he had a simple goal: to serve the families across the Greater Austin Metro area with evidence-based, effective, and genuinely convenient care. As he built the practice, he kept coming back to one problem that a lot of dental offices never seem to solve - convenience isn't always about location, it's also about the hours of operation.

The truth is, the way people work has changed. Fewer and fewer of our patients don't have a traditional 9-to-5 schedule anymore, and even the ones who do often can't easily take a day off for a dental appointment. Between jobs, kids, school schedules, and everything else life throw at a family, "just come in on a weekday morning" isn't realistic advice for most people. Dr. Bethell saw that gap early on, and he built Forest Family Dentistry to close it.

Here's how Forest Family Dentistry does things differently

We're Open:

• Mondays and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Tuesdays through Thursday we are open 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
• Alternating Saturday appointments from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

That means you can come in before your workday even starts, swing by on your lunch break, catch an evening slot after you pick up the kids, or skip taking time off altogether and see us on a Saturday. Whatever your week looks like, there's a good chance we have a time that fits into it - not the other way around.

This isn't just a scheduling gimmick, either. It's baked into how we run the practice. Every team member, including our doctors, is expected to work at least one closing shift a week and one Saturday every 4-6 weeks. We built it this way on purpose, because we wanted our patients to have real continuity of care; the ability to see the same provider they trust, at a time that actually works for them, instead of choosing between "my dentist" and "my schedule."

We also know convenience isn't just about hours. It's about location, too. Maybe you work downtown and want an office near you job. Maybe you'd rather stay close to home. Maybe your kids can't miss class, practice, or tutoring, so a weeknight or Saturday visit is the only option that makes sense for your family. Whatever the reason, we designed our practices around meeting you where you are. Literally and figuratively.

At the end of the day, this is about making sure dental health doesn't get pushed to the bottom of the list just because life is busy. You shouldn't have to choose between taking care of your teeth and taking care of everything else on your plate.
