Dr. Robin Bethell
Dr. Robin Bethell is the founder and visionary behind Forest Family Dentistry, opening the first Austin location on Anderson Lane in 2013 with a mission that was simple but ambitious: to make going to the dentist something people actually enjoy. Over the following decade he built Forest Family Dentistry into one of the highest rated dental practices in Austin, earning top reviews on Google and Yelp and growing the practice to five locations across the Greater Austin area.
From the beginning Dr. Bethell approached dentistry differently. He put TVs on the ceiling, opened early morning and late evening appointments, added Saturday hours, and built a dedicated insurance support team so patients could spend less time worrying about paperwork and more time focused on their health. Every detail of the Forest Family Dentistry experience was designed intentionally around making dental care less stressful and more accessible for real, busy people.
Dr. Bethell is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Institue and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He serves on the advisory board at Align Technology and is recognized as the highest rated Invisalign® provider in the Austin area. With over 4,000 Invisalign® cases treated, Forest Family Dentistry ranks in the top 1% of providers worldwide. Dr. Bethell has dedicated thousands of hours to continuing education across cosmetic dentistry, restorative techniques, and clear aligner therapy, always staying at the leading edge of what modern dentistry can offer.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Bethell is a passionate mentor and educator who trains dentist and dental hygienists around the world. He personally coaches the team at Forest Family Dentistry and designed the protocols and patient experiences that have earned the practice its trusted reputation across Austin.
Today Dr. Bethell provides complex restorative treatment at Blue Door Dental Design, oversees Invisalign® care at Forest Family Dentistry, and works closely alongside Dr. Christopher Disla and Dr. Megan Darnell. His ongoing mission remains exactly what is was from day one: to advance the dental profession through innovation, genuine leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the people in the chair.
